CFP Discussion Papers

Presently, there are DRAFT discussion papers concerning:

I. Faith, Religion and Values

This paper attempts to define the parameters and guidelines that would allow for a generous level of religious freedoms within Canadian culture. It also recognizes that the Canadian Judeo-Christian and native people's values and beliefs must be accomodated whilst allowing for the practice of other faiths and beliefs.

The powers of state and church are discussed whilst acknowledging that the state's laws supercede contradictory religious laws or practices in the material/ physical realm.

11. Canada's Resources

This paper attempts to outline a Vision for the stewardship, growth and development of the nation's five foundational resources: Human Resources, Physical Resources, Informational Resources, Technological Resources and Financial Resources.

It addresses a new perspective concerning how to assess where we are, where we want to be, and how to get there. Similarly, it begins to examine some of the fundamental resource management issues addressed by our founders and looks at some of them in the context of how we can better manage our fundamental resources in this century.

A paper on Health & Welfare is being developed at present.

Canadians are invited to submit discussion papers to the CFP. Kindly contact us with respect to the area or topic of your paper.

Please keep in mind that criticisms or denunciations of current policies or actions of organizations or government is not the context of a discussion paper. Discussion papers must focus upon future policies and principles that may guide the CFP.

Please e-mail us if you are interested in viewing any DRAFT Discussion Papers.
