Purpose:

4.1 It is the purpose of the CFP to advance the Party’s platform, policy, values and basis of unity, and to contribute to the welfare of Canada, Canadians and the community of life in Canada by:

4.1.1 Candidates:

Following the acquisition of official party status by Elections Canada: fielding and electing candidates in federal elections,

4.1.2 Legislation:

Debating and forming legislation in the Canadian parliament and by participating in the government of Canada,

4.1.3 Policies:

Developing policy and platforms consistent with its values and basis of unity,

4.1.4 Awareness & Recognition:

Advancing the CFP’s platform, policy, values and basis of unity across Canada outside of electoral periods,

4.1.5 National Coalition:

Building a national coalition of people who share these beliefs and who reflect the regional, cultural and socio-economic diversity of Canada,

4.1.6 Accountability:

Operating in a manner accountable and responsive to its Members,

4.1.7 Organization:

Forming and maintaining CFP organizations at the federal and electoral district levels, and

4.1.8 FEDS - Free Enterprise Democratic Socialist:

Working in harmony with FEDS - FREE ENTERPRISE DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST parties and organizations globally.
